Who created the program?

The Best of Friends® program was developed in the clinic setting by Educational and Developmental Psychologist, Dr. Kimberley O’Brien and  QK team. We consulted with teachers and many other educational and social development experts.

What is the program structure?

In the clinic setting, the program is delivered over 10-sessions (1 hour a week) for a group sizes of up to 8 participants. The program is often delivered during a school term,

What ages or stages is it intended for?

The program is suitable for children aged 7 to 8 years and 9 to 11 years. There is a specific lesson plan for each age group.

How much does it cost to my clients?

The recommended retail price for the program starts at $750 (early bird) to $930 per participant. This includes all the materials and service. 

Who is eligible to become a facilitator?

Psychologists, allied health and suitably qualified teachers, with experience facilitating groups and working with children, can facilitate the program.

Do I need Training?

Yes. You will need to complete a simple preparation process and complete supervised session. When it comes to delivering the program we are committed to ensuring the highest possible standards for our facilitator.

What are the costs?

There is a one-off fee of $199 to cover your registration and initial setup. Quirky Kid also received a commission from each registration.
